I am very shocked at this place. We were her three years ago and it was nice, nothing great but nice. It has gone down hill something terrible. I was talking with a work camper and he stated that KOA has dropped the standards so low that parks can save on maintenance and repairs. The roads are terrible, the electrical boxs are very worn and in need of replacement. A lot of long term users have the nice sites while travelers get what is left over. They should just become a Mobile Home Park at this rate. We too, were warned to make sure everything is locked up and do not go out at night. We had a terrible night. Needless to say we will never be back!
This is a beautiful park. The grounds are well manicured, the ground was a little wet (they just received over 6" of rain). The sites were level, Wi-Fi was great end the cable was clear and the power was steady. This is another park that was a KOA and decided to become a Good Sam Park. Good for them! The restrooms are the cleanest we have seen in any park. The owners are very active with the guest. By far the best selection of RV Parts we have seen, very good prices too. We look forward to returning and spending a few days.
A park in Shreveport told us about this place, it is very nice. Sue was great, she helped us get level, kind of scary getting in but she was there for us. We will be back.
What a nice park. We stayed at the KOA on the other side of the lake (it was a dump) last night. We were packing up to leave and a guest told us about this park. It is great: nice staff, very clean and plenty of room to stretch out. Has a great view of the lake.
I would have rated this park much higher if it was not a KOA. We are discovering that KOA has dropped it's standards but has increased the prices. This park is very clean, the staff was nice and the restaurant was very good. You can tell the owners care about the traveling guest. If we are in the area we will stay here again.
We did not know about this website until a fellow RVer told me about it. This is our first entry. I can not believe how terrible this park is. The roads were almost non-travelable (if that is a word), and the restrooms were awful! When I asked the young lady in the office why they allowed this place to run down, she stated, "You should have seen it last month if you think it is bad now"! The train was so loud that it shook our 5th wheel, and if it was not the train it was the Peacocks screeching at 2:00AM. The owners and KOA clearly do not care how they are represented. I am glad we discovered this website so we can express ourselves. We will never be back here!
